Olive Spread Appetizers

9 cup

black olive

3 cup

toasted walnuts

3/4 cup

mayonnaise

1 tsp

fresh thyme

1/2 tsp

white pepper

Procedures
 
  1. Combine sliced black olives and walnuts in a food processor process to mince very finely.
  2. Add mayonnaise and process to mix well.
  3. Add thyme-mix well.
  4. Season to taste with white pepper.
  5. Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin.
  6. Spread 2 tablespoons olive mixture onto each bread slice rollup tightly as for a jelly roll.
  7. Wrap in plastic and chill for 2-96 hours.
  8. Cut each roll on the bias, into four pieces.
  9. Garnish with olive slivers.
  10. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature.
