Hazelnut olive cheese ball

8 oz

Cream cheese, softened

8 oz

Sharp cheddar cheese
- (2 cups), shredded
- room temperature

1/2 cup

Chopped stuffed grn. olives

2 tbsp

Minced parsley

1 tbsp

Minced green onion

1/4 tsp

Hot pepper sauce

1/2 cup

Roasted Oregon hazelnuts
--(finely chopped)

 
Procedures
 
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the cream and sharp cheeses.
  3. Stir in olives, parsley, green onion and hot pepper sauce until well mixed.
  4. Shape into a ball and roll in the chopped hazelnuts.
  5. Cover and chill 1 to 24 hours.
  6. Serve with crackers.
